Questions to ask your child in response to the read-aloud:
- What happens in the garden at night?
- What does it mean for some things to be up in the garden and other things to be down in the dirt?
Learn at Home activity for today:
Help your child use the internet to find recipes online that include various fruits or vegetables. Help them compare and contrast the recipes and determine which to prepare. After selecting a recipe, try making it as a family. Consider recipes that reflect your culture!
Open ended questions:

- How did you figure that out?
- What will you do next?
- What if you try ____?
- How could you ____?
Continued Weekly Activity
Have your child draw a picture of their favorite plant that they eat.
