September Theme – All About Me
This week your children will be learning all about friendship
and feelings.
Some of the books we will be reading are:

How Are
You Peeling? Foods with Moods by Saxton Freymann and Joost Elffers
Blocks: Students will build themselves and their friends out of blocks.
Art: Paint or draw a picture of themselves with their friends.
Music: The Story of My Feelings, If You’re Happy and You Know It.
Science: Students will explore their fingerprints and their friend’s fingerprints with magnifying glasses.
Math: Students will match faces portraying different emotions.
Home to School Connection:
On Monday, September 21st, I will be sending home a Universal Handwriting book. The work assigned is recommended and not required.

Weekly Reminders:
- School will be closed Friday, September 25th.
- On Wednesday mornings, Pre-K 4 has art class. Please send in an old, oversized t-shirt for your child to wear over his/her clothing.
